Visual Studio 2005 on Mac OS X

Utilizing Parallels 3.0 http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/ I am able to run Visual Studio 2005 on my Macbook (Mac OS X). Parallels Coherence makes it seem that I am running Visual Studio right inside my Mac desktop window instead of a separate virtualized window.

  • Kris,

Thanks for the information about Studio on Mac OSx. I would like to get a Mac for my next notebook, I am running VB6.
Have you been developing on our MAC.? How does it handle Studio?

  • It runs sweetly, I am currently programming with Visual Studio running in Parallels and everything goes smoothly.

Except that now I have to program some things for Outlook and I don't seem to have the libraries, so I will have to install Office in Parallels as well, which I didn't want to...

    Nice blog, Kris ^^
